The Royal Family and HK 皇室與香港

作為英國殖民地，每當英國皇室有大事發生，香港皆會與英國同喜同悲。1975年首度有在位英國君主訪港，英女皇伊利沙伯二世亦在1986年再度訪港，揮別東方之珠。

As a British colony, Hong Kong shared in the joys and sorrows of the British royal family during all the significant events. In 1975, a reigning British monarch visited Hong Kong for the first time, and Queen Elizabeth II revisited Hong Kong in 1986, bidding farewell to the "Pearl of the Orient."
